As Founder of FoodQure, I partner with brands to build, strengthen and protect their quality and food safety programs, especially within outsourced manufacturing environments. With over 30 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, I’ve worked across a wide range of products, teams, and growth stages. Quality assurance is my core focus, but my work naturally extends into regulatory compliance, food safety, certification support, shelf life studies, packaging claims, nutrition panel development, product scale-up, exportation of goods and foreign supply verification.
I specialize in building practical, effective quality systems for brands that outsource manufacturing. Having worked closely with both brands and manufacturers, I understand the pressures on each side and help bridge that gap with clear expectations, strong systems, and solutions that actually work in real-world production.
My approach is roll-up-your-sleeves and dive in! I love to simplify complex requirements, anticipate risks before they become issues, and bring structure to areas that often feel unclear or overwhelming. Whether it’s navigating certifications, supporting regulatory strategy, or working through complex quality challenges, my goal is to make the path forward clear, manageable, and grounded in real-world experience.
Throughout my career, I have provided support in legal matters, including depositions, serving as an expert witness for the food and beverage industry. I am a highly-skilled user in numerous certification and retailer portals such as FoodChainID, GFCO Compass, OUdirect, CCOF & WFCF Organic, NSF, FoodLogiQ, Trader Joe’s GORP, WFM Gateway, Repositrak and Trace Gaines.
I hold certifications as a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI), SQF Practitioner, HACCP and Juice HACCP. Additional certifications and training include Advanced Internal Auditing, Intentional Adulteration (IA) Rule, Food Defense, Food Safety Culture, AIB Nutritional Analysis, and FSPCA Foreign Supplier Verification Programs.
