Becky Conces

Founder & Principal Consultant

As Founder of FoodQure, I partner with brands to build, strengthen and protect their quality and food safety programs, especially within outsourced manufacturing environments. With over 30 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, I’ve worked across a wide range of products, teams, and growth stages. Quality assurance is my core focus, but my work naturally extends into regulatory compliance, food safety, certification support, shelf life studies, packaging claims, nutrition panel development, product scale-up, exportation of goods and foreign supply verification.

I specialize in building practical, effective quality systems for brands that outsource manufacturing. Having worked closely with both brands and manufacturers, I understand the pressures on each side and help bridge that gap with clear expectations, strong systems, and solutions that actually work in real-world production.

My approach is roll-up-your-sleeves and dive in! I love to simplify complex requirements, anticipate risks before they become issues, and bring structure to areas that often feel unclear or overwhelming. Whether it’s navigating certifications, supporting regulatory strategy, or working through complex quality challenges, my goal is to make the path forward clear, manageable, and grounded in real-world experience.

Throughout my career, I have provided support in legal matters, including depositions, serving as an expert witness for the food and beverage industry. I am a highly-skilled user in numerous certification and retailer portals such as FoodChainID, GFCO Compass, OUdirect, CCOF & WFCF Organic, NSF, FoodLogiQ, Trader Joe’s GORP, WFM Gateway, Repositrak and Trace Gaines.

I hold certifications as a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI), SQF Practitioner, HACCP and Juice HACCP. Additional certifications and training include Advanced Internal Auditing, Intentional Adulteration (IA) Rule, Food Defense, Food Safety Culture, AIB Nutritional Analysis, and FSPCA Foreign Supplier Verification Programs.

Kristin Patterson

Consultant

I’ve been fortunate to build my career across a diverse range of industries including flavors and fragrances, fresh produce, pharmaceuticals, juice, seafood, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and ready-to-eat foods. All of which has given me a well-rounded perspective on food safety and quality. Through hands-on experience, extensive training, and conducting both third-party and supplier audits, I’ve developed a strong foundation that allows me to serve as a true partner and resource to the teams I work with.

What I enjoy most is helping businesses bring structure and clarity to their FSQA programs, whether that means building something from the ground up, strengthening an existing program, or aligning operations with evolving regulatory requirements. I focus on creating practical, sustainable solutions that go beyond checking a box but actually work in real-world environments.

I have deep expertise in managing certification programs for brands, guiding teams through complex requirements with clarity and efficiency. My experience spans a wide range of standards, including the Non-GMO Project, Vegan.org, Seed Oil Free Alliance, GFCO (Gluten-Free Certification Organization), and RSPO, along with supporting platforms such as FoodLogiQ, FoodChainID, TraceGains, ReposiTrak, GFCO Compass, OUDirect and MyRSPO. This combination of certification expertise and technical fluency allows me to efficiently manage complex certification programs while keeping them organized, audit-ready, and scalable.

I hold certifications as a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI), SQF Practitioner, and in HACCP, Seafood HACCP, and Juice HACCP. Additional training includes Food Safety Program development, Food Defense Plan Development and Implementation, Principles of Internal Auditing, and Developing Environmental Monitoring Programs.

I believe the strongest FSQA programs take a holistic approach, connecting everything from packaging and supplier controls to preventive controls and compliance strategy. That big-picture mindset is where real impact happens, and it’s what drives my work. I’m here to help organizations not only meet expectations, but raise the bar.

Rebecca Wagner

Consultant

I began my career as a laboratory technician in Quality Assurance and R&D, supporting globally recognized beverage brands. Through hands-on experience and a strong commitment to excellence, I advanced into Quality Assurance leadership roles across diverse sectors of the CPG food and beverage industry.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked across retail, co-manufacturing, distribution, and foodservice sectors. I have effectively managed multiple certification and retailer portals such as FoodChainID, GFCO Compass, OUdirect, CCOF Organic, NSF, FoodLogiQ, e-Halo, Giant Eagle Soar, Wegman’s Edge, Trader Joe’s GORP, WFM Gateway and Repositrak.

I’m passionate about building strong food safety cultures, enhancing quality systems, and driving continuous improvement. With early exposure to manufacturing environments through my family’s work in pest control, I developed a practical, ground-level understanding of how food safety and quality systems truly operate.

As a trained Lead Auditor, I’m especially passionate about auditing as a tool for improvement, approaching it as an opportunity to educate and support. I believe many quality challenges stem from gaps in training and alignment rather than lack of effort, so I focus on helping teams build systems that are clear, practical, and sustainable.

I hold multiple industry certifications, including FSSC 22000 Lead Auditor, SQF Practitioner, Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI), HACCP, Juice HACCP, FSPCA Foreign Supply Verification Programs, Food Defense, and Pesticide Supervisor licenses.

Sarah Morrow

Operations

With a strong foundation in customer service and hospitality, I support FoodQure behind the scenes, bringing a focus on organization, responsiveness, and overall client experience. My work centers on helping keep day-to-day operations running smoothly as the company continues to grow.

I support the team across a range of areas, including administrative coordination, research, social media management, and documentation development. My role plays a key part in bringing structure and clarity to both internal processes and client-facing materials.

My background in hospitality has shaped my attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to anticipate needs in a fast-moving environment. In addition, earning my Master’s in Sustainability has strengthened my ability to approach operations with long-term strategic thinking, resource awareness, and a commitment to supporting responsible business practices. As a HACCP-certified professional, I also bring an understanding of food safety standards and compliance, supporting the team’s commitment to quality and operational excellence.

Whether it’s organizing information, building out documentation, or supporting the team wherever needed, I help ensure everything stays aligned and moving forward.
